The Sylvania MakerLab
Open lab hours
Reopening for Summer term on Thursday, June 25th 2026
- Please see calendar below for Open Lab and workshop times.
Please check the calendar! Some weeks there are no Open Lab times. And we have workshops to sign up for!
- Open lab is when anyone from the ±¬ÁÏÍøcommunity can stop by and start making. No appointment needed!
- ±¬ÁÏÍøclubs and instructors are encouraged to contact Sean Rooney, the STEAM Center Coordinator, to request lab time outside of open lab hours.
- There may be times when we need to close unexpectedly; we hope this is a rarity.
- Location: AM 101 (basement of the auto shop) at Sylvania Campus
- Coordinator: Sean Rooney
- Contact: sean.rooney@pcc.edu
The MakerLab at the Sylvania campus is an interdisciplinary space committed to developing, creating, and sharing ideas. We have a wide variety of equipment to prototype new designs, make projects for class, or practice skills. Technical assistance is available to help you get started.
