±¬ÁÏÍøsponsors upcoming MLK Dream Run at Cascade

The ±¬ÁÏÍø community will have the chance to participate in the .
The weekend celebration happens on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18 at ±¬ÁÏÍø’s Cascade Campus. The races (walk, 5K, 10K, 15K) are on Sunday. New ±¬ÁÏÍøPresident Dr. Adrien Bennings will be on hand for the festivities.
This year, Tthe MLK Dream Run, which ±¬ÁÏÍøis a co-sponsor, has a theme of “Environmental Justice ” with the tagline #EarthNeedsAllies. Each year this race pays respect to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s vision of a just and equitable world for all to share and steward. Funds benefit the Soul District Youth Entrepreneur Training Programs, which are designed to help low-income and minority youth (ages 16-24) improve and expand the skills they need to operate successful businesses.
