Details about this class

I'm excited for you to be in this class!  As a student in the Civil and Construction Engineering Technology (CCET) program, you will learn how to be an integral team member to build safe roads, stable structures, and provide clean water to create a better future for your community!

This is the first class taken in the CCET program, so I'd like to take some time to identify a few important items.  Referencing the Advising Guide [pdf] will provide more details.

  • Register for CCET 110 Plan Reading.

  • Select Stedman Bailey as your advisor.

  • Schedule an appointment to meet with Stedman Bailey to discuss your grad plan.

  • Recognize the CCET program is algebra based - no calculus is required in this program

  • Understand that CCET courses do NOT transfer to a Civil Engineering Bachelor degree because the bachelor degree requires calculus.

  • Enjoy that the CCET tract prepares you for work in the Civil and Construction Engineering workforce as an engineering technician - one who supports the engineer.

The course information of the provides additional details on the CCET 100 course, such as the textbook and other supplies needed.  Please note, this syllabus is based on the previous year and is subject to change for this year.

You’re welcome to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.  I look forward to meeting you September 21.

Kindly,

Leanne
